https://youtu.be/o_AODREAZbE 可持續發展是近五年期間商界的熱話,不同領域的企業亦正尋求不同的方法,加強ESG的表現,並令自身的商業運作更加可持續。這種意識亦不單單是一種泛企業文化的表現,在消費者的心目中,可持續發展亦漸漸變得舉足輕重,消費者希望自己在進行消費行為的時候,不會對環境造成傷害,消費品的製作過程亦是道德上負責任的。 其中,衣服是眾多消費品中在可持續性方面表現比較強的一種,全因傳統製衣過程往往會因為用不盡布匹而造成原材料浪費,製作過程亦有可能使用對環境有害的染料,因此出現不少針對時尚服飾業的生產鏈過程的各類科研,反而令這個行業在可持續的道路上走得更遠,並衍生出「可持續穿著」的概念。 可持續穿著是指,在製造、使用和處理衣服時都考慮到環境、社會和經濟影響的方式,旨在減少對環境的影響,提高工作條件和生活質量,並支持經濟可持續發展,具體方法包括使用如有機棉、竹纖維、再生聚酯、TENCEL等可持續材料、延長衣物的壽命、減少製造過程的排放、促進公平貿易等。 回到生產商,原材料和生產過程可說是達到可持續性的兩個最大範疇。內衣製造商維珍妮國際(Regina Miracle)從1998年創立之今,透過不斷開發新技術,由一開始的胸杯,發展至今成為包含內外衣的跨類別生產商;首席營運官陳志平分享維珍妮過去25年的創新更新之路。 技術工藝導入可持續願景 作為貼身衣物生產商,維珍妮非常注重衣物材質是否舒適,並在與供應鏈夥伴合作開發環保原材料,其中生物級海綿是目前全球唯一既能達到傳統海綿效果、又可以實現量產的植物油配方海綿,目前25%配方的生物級海綿,對比傳統海綿可減少最少16%的碳排放;另外,公司亦有應用新型的矽膠技術,利用特種有機矽的柔軟輕膚的特性,非常適合女性內衣等貼身服裝產品,提高舒適度之餘,也提供支撐塑形效果。剪裁方面,與上游供應商合作開發無縫捏合技術,採用黏合法、以黏合拼接代替縫合,改革了業內傳統裁剪和縫紉做工,有效改善胸圍的外觀及舒適度。 陳志平亦特別強調維珍妮創新獨有的液態3D發泡技術,形容其為「模杯行業的重大技術革新」:「相對於傳統高溫熱壓成型的模杯製造工藝而言,液態發泡技術利用模具,通過自動化的立體發泡生產,大幅減少原材料消耗,並且簡化生產流程,降低能源消耗,達致環保和高效。」 製造方面,維珍妮主導和研發了很多定制的生產設備、自動化生產模式及標準化的生產流程,令整個生產流程更加高效和可控,提高準確度、靈活性和生產力,節約重複的人手工序,確保了員工有一個更加安全、更加健康的工作環境,不但減少了浪費,也提升效率和環保節能。 消費者希望購買能應付不同場景的穿著 站在消費者的角度,當然希望所購買的產品有最高的性價比,同一件產品能夠集外觀、功能及舒適於一身,甚或乎可以應付商務、休閒、運動等不同場景。 對未被滿足的需求,維珍尼推動了原材料及工藝的研發創新,包括點膠、矽膠、3D液態發泡、無縫粘合技術等,擊破市場痛點,消費者不需犧牲對某方面的追求,就能獲得適合多元場景的穿著需求,為消費者創造更加貼身舒適的感受。正因如此,工藝亦漸漸應用在外穿服裝,產品界線超越女性內衣,發展出運動上衣、運動褲、外套等品項,兼顧「內」、「外」、「男」、「女」,在本業之上「疊加」其他業務,令發展更多元化,鞏固實力。 在ESG的風潮下,人人都講永續,對企業而言其中一個最重要的課題就是發掘企業業務的可持續營運模式;維珍妮期望,透過數碼化、自動化和創新工藝,可以繼續為客戶和消費者提供更高質量的產品,並引領行業持續進步。
